NetCom USA has released the NR6 family of RAID storage systems. They’re available in capacities of 2TB, 4TB and 8TB with data transfer speeds up to 400 MB/second, NR6 storage systems are a fast, reliable solution for storage of mission critical data.

The NR6 family of storage systems support RAID levels 0, 5, 6 and 10 and are designed to protect important data from unexpected drive and component failures, according to William Long, chief technical officer at NetCom USA. They’re compatible with Mac, Windows and Linux operating systems.

Specifications include:

• Certifications: UL, CUL, CE, FCC, RoHS Compliant
• Power consumption: 600W max. (240W Typ.)
• Cooling: four Internal fans (two fixed, two replaceable)
• Mean time between failures: approimately 100,000 hours
• Acoustic: < 48 dB
• Housed in compact 8-bay, 2U Rackmount chassis
